Requirements
At least 2 years of experience.
PSW certification from NACC or a public college is required.
Valid First Aid/CPR certificate issued within the last 12 months.
Police Vulnerable Sector Check completed within the last 6 months.
A driver's license and own insured vehicle are mandatory.
TB test completed within the last 6 months.
Three COVID-19 vaccine doses.
Up-to-date flu shot.
Mask fit.
Satisfactory professional references.
Ability to accurately follow written and verbal instructions.
Ability to anticipate problems and use sound judgment and tact when handling confidential matters.
Responsibilities
Provide personal care.
Provide cognitive, social, emotional, and spiritual support.
Provide behavior support and crisis intervention.
Maintain open communication with the client and their family.
Monitor the care plan and document any changes and updates.
Respond to emergency situations.
Follow the care plan and assist with activities of daily living.
Write clear and detailed care notes.
Perform other duties as assigned.

We have 4 PSW vacancies for LTC facility in Collingwood to provide care. Shifts may vary from mornings to evenings to overnights and every other weekend. Need to have 2 plus years experience.
Job Benefits:

Sign up Bonus $100.00 after completing 300 hours
4 - 6 hour shift minimum

The successful candidate’s areas of responsibility will include, but are not limited to, the following:
