TravisMathew launches Modern Tour shoe to compete in crowded golf footwear market

TravisMathew, acquired by Callaway Golf Company for $125.5 million nine years ago, is expanding its footwear presence with the new Modern Tour shoe. The California-based brand developed the shoe with PGA Tour player Akshay Bhatia. Callaway's apparel sales rose 2.8% to $207.9 million in the first half of 2026. Higher TravisMathew sales helped offset a 3.6% decline in Callaway's broader Apparel, Gear and Other segment. The brand operates over 60 retail stores and sells through Dick's Sporting Goods, PGA TOUR Superstore, and other channels. TravisMathew entered footwear in 2017 through a licensing agreement with Cuater, later launching Cuater by TravisMathew golf shoes in 2019. The company aims to establish footwear as a meaningful complement to its apparel business in an increasingly crowded market.

Guinness, TravisMathew Announce Collaboration in Time for St. Patrick's Day

Guinness, TravisMathew announce collaboration in time for St. Patrick's Day. These two brands are back working together. Mar 13, 2026 10:58 AM EDT News Writer, Men's Journal Key points. * Guinness and TravisMathew launch expanded apparel and accessories collection. * "The result is an assortment designed for consumers who value both style and storytelling." * Guinness and PopUp Bagels offer a limited-edition Chocolate Stout Cake Schmear until March 25. It's almost St. Patrick's Day, and with the annual holiday on the horizon, Guinness and TravisMathew, the lifestyle and performance brand, have announced their second annual collaboration. Last year, the two companies combined on their Daily Pro Plus golf shoe, and they also offer a TM x Guinness putter cover for the course. This time around, the collection has expanded to include attire, headwear and footwear options. Keep Watching Here's a Hidden Gem Sci-Fi Series to Binge This Weekend Watch More "Guinness carries a visual and cultural identity people recognize immediately, and we wanted the product to reflect that at first glance," said TravisMathew CMO Leif Sunderland, in a press release shared with Men's Journal. "After the response to our first release, expanding into a full collection allowed us to build on that foundation and broaden the offering in a meaningful way. The result is an assortment designed for consumers who value both style and storytelling." The new TM x Guinness collection consists of t-shirts, polo shirts, outerwear, footwear, headgear and various other accessories. "It allows us to bring the iconic Guinness heritage into new lifestyle categories, offering our consumers an authentic and fashionable way to connect with the brand they love, beyond the pint itself. We're thrilled for fans to experience," said Guinness Senior Licensing Manager Ray Sheehan. Items are now available for a limited time only at TravisMathew.com and select TravisMathew retail locations. Guinness also has a food collab for St. Patrick's season. Announced back on March 3, Guinness and PopUp Bagels have teamed up on a limited-edition product for the second year in a row. Last year, it was a "Guinness Stout Schmear" cream cheese; this year, it's a "Guinness Chocolate Stout Cake Schmear." Beginning yesterday through March 25, Guinness Chocolate Stout Cake Schmear is available at PopUp Bagels stores nationwide. Select locations will also be offering samples of tiny pints of Guinness Draught and Guinness 0. Lakers News: TravisMathew Unveils Austin Reaves Clothing Collection

Lakers news: TravisMathew unveils Austin Reaves clothing collection. Southern California-based lifestyle brand TravisMathew announced its first-ever collection with Los Angeles Lakers guard Austin Reaves, set to be released on Oct. 20 at 9 a.m. PT. The Austin Reaves Collection features a diverse apparel lineup that is meant to move effortlessly from the course to the court, a reflection of the Lakers' star's passions for golf and basketball. The new collection includes polos, tees, bottoms, outerwear and headwear and serves as a reflection of Reaves' personal style blended TravisMathew's signature mix of premium fabrics, comfort and versatility. "I've been part of the TravisMathew team as a Brand Ambassador for almost two years, and it's been a great fit from the start," says Reaves. "Partnering on this collection has been an awesome experience, especially getting to put my own touch on it. I'm excited for people to see the pieces and try them out for themselves." "Austin represents the blend of performance and lifestyle at the core of TravisMathew, shown through his success as a basketball player and passion for golf," says Leif Sunderland, Chief Marketing Officer of TravisMathew. "Austin's personal style brings a fresh energy to the collection, with player-driven styles that push our designs forward while staying true to our premium fabrics. It's a versatile lineup made to move from course to courtside, and we're excited for both TravisMathew customers and Austin's fans to experience it." Since joining the Lakers, Reaves has been fortunate enough to use his on-court performance to land brand opportunities in the apparel and merchandising industry. Aside from his partnership with TravisMathew, Reaves also partners with Rigorer on his signature shoe line that just released the AR3s earlier this month. Reaves' love for both golf and basketball has been made apparent during his tenure in Los Angeles so far, but fans are certainly hoping for another strong year from the guard. Luka Doncic looks like he's in MVP form, but the Lakers need Reaves to help buoy them during the early stretch of the 2025-26 season. Playing in a market like L.A. presents athletes with marketing opportunities that they likely wouldn't get elsewhere, but Reaves has earned the attention he's been getting. The off-the-court benefits must not hurt for a person like Reaves, but the real goal is to win championships. JJ Redick compares Austin Reaves to Jamal Crawford. Austin Reaves might not be the most athletic player on the floor, but he's a crafty player who has a knack for drawing free throws. Head coach JJ Redick praised Reaves' ability to generate points and compared him to his former teammate Jamal Crawford. Have you subscribed to its YouTube channel?
