Deloitte has acquired substantially all assets of Wavicle Data Solutions to expand its artificial intelligence and data practice with additional Databricks engineering capabilities. Wavicle specialises in data and AI engineering and has developed a significant Databricks practice spanning major hyperscale cloud platforms, with industry experience including consumer goods, manufacturing, financial services, life sciences and healthcare. Deloitte plans to combine Wavicle's technical engineering talent with its broader consulting organisation to help enterprises establish AI-ready data foundations. The acquisition deepens Deloitte's existing relationship with Databricks, following three Databricks Partner Awards at the 2026 Data + AI Summit covering North America consulting and system integration, banking and public-sector work.
