Industrial Maintenance Technician
About the job
- Completion of 12th grade or a technical-professional course in Industrial Maintenance, Electromechanics, Mechatronics, Electricity, Automation, or a similar area.
- At least 2 to 5 years of professional experience in similar industrial maintenance roles.
- Experience with preventive and corrective maintenance of industrial equipment.
- Knowledge of diagnosing mechanical and electrical failures, industrial safety, and maintenance best practices.
- Basic English knowledge.
- Knowledge and proficiency with office and CAD tools, and ability to use maintenance management platforms or software.
- Ability to analyze and solve problems.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Analyze and diagnose the operating conditions of infrastructure and mechanical and electrical equipment as part of maintenance work.
- Prepare and carry out preventive and corrective maintenance interventions.
- Record completed maintenance interventions in available platforms and systems.
- Contribute to the technical analysis of maintenance and repair budgets for machinery and equipment.
- Participate in analyzing and implementing actions to reduce downtime and optimize machinery and equipment setups.
- Implement continuous improvements to increase equipment reliability, efficiency, and performance.
- Ensure compliance with applicable safety, quality, and environmental standards.
- Support the identification of maintenance needs and the definition of intervention plans.
- Supplementary training in workplace safety or industrial equipment.
- Experience in industrial environments and/or industrial worksites.
- A sense of responsibility and commitment.
- Proactivity and an orientation toward continuous improvement.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work as part of a team.
