About the job
- A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required.
- Current speech-language pathologist licensure or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship is required; Clinical Fellows and holders of the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology are welcome.
- Strong interpersonal skills and comfort working directly with families and caregivers are required.
- Ability to manage sessions, documentation, and scheduling professionally is required.
- Authorization to work in the United States is required.
- Complete pediatric evaluations and translate results into actionable treatment goals.
- Provide therapy targeting early language, articulation, phonological processes, and pragmatic skills.
- Coach caregivers on strategies to support progress between sessions.
- Track progress and adjust plans using data and clinical judgment.
- Maintain clear, timely notes and progress reports.
- Collaborate with supervisors and team members through ongoing case discussion.
- Create a warm, encouraging environment for children and families.
- Experience with toddler and preschool populations and play-based therapy is preferred.
- Exposure to augmentative and alternative communication (low-tech or high-tech) and caregiver training is preferred.
- Interest in continuing education and clinical growth pathways is preferred.
