A valid Canadian driver's licence with a clean abstract, at minimum Class 3 with an Air Brake endorsement.
Comfort working outdoors in all weather in a labour-intensive role.
Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors.

Emil Anderson Maintenance (EAM) is the BC Ministry of Transportation and Transit (MoTT) highway and bridge maintenance contractor for three service areas in British Columbia: Service Area 7 (Fraser Valley), Service Area 20 (Robson), and Service Area 26 (Skeena).
For decades, EAM has delivered reliable road and bridge maintenance across urban and rural corridors. Our teams perform the full scope of highway maintenance activities, including vegetation control, drainage, sign and pavement repairs, concrete and wood bridge repair, gravel surface grading, anti icing, snow plowing, and incident and emergency response. The Opportunity
We’re seeking a 1st year bridgeworker apprentice for Service Area 7 (Fraser Valley), based out of Rosedale, BC.
As a Bridge Labourer, 1st Year Apprentice, with Emil Anderson Maintenance (EAM), you’ll help keep critical infrastructure safe and reliable throughout the service area. You’ll contribute to meaningful infrastructure projects by providing hands-on support in the maintenance and revitalization of bridges and other essential structures. This is a physically demanding, labour intensive role that involves outdoor work on concrete and wood bridge decks. If you enjoy working outdoors, take pride in essential community service, and thrive in a fast paced, team environment, this role is for you.
Although we are a union affiliated organization, being an active member is not a prerequisite.
Your Key Responsibilities
Operate equipment as and when required.
