- Board certification or board eligibility in Family Medicine, Urgent Care, Occupational Health, or Emergency Medicine.
- Ability to provide care to patients of all ages.
- Ability to obtain and maintain DOT Medical Examiner Certification, or willingness to obtain it upon hire.
- Provide comprehensive, longitudinal, patient-centered care in a fast-paced outpatient setting.
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute illnesses and injuries for patients of all ages.
- Perform comprehensive medical evaluations, including patient histories and physical examinations.
- Order, interpret, and manage diagnostic studies, including laboratory testing, electrocardiograms, and X-rays.
- Develop evidence-based treatment plans and prescribe medications in accordance with current clinical guidelines.
- Perform common urgent care procedures, including laceration repair by suturing or stapling, incision and drainage, splinting and basic orthopedic care, foreign body removal, and wound care and dressing changes.
- Provide clinical supervision, mentorship, and collaborative support for advanced practice providers.
- Perform DOT physical examinations and complete all required documentation.
- Perform occupational health services, including urine drug screens, breath alcohol testing, chain-of-custody specimen collection and documentation, return-to-work evaluations, and work-related injury evaluations.
