- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- An active Pharmacy Technician license in good standing is required.
- A strong understanding of pharmaceutical concepts, medical terminology, and insurance payor requirements is required.
- The candidate must be able to travel to satellite locations as needed.
- Deliver customer service to patients, providers, pharmacies, and pharmaceutical partners.
- Process medication refill requests and prior authorizations accurately through the electronic medical record.
- Assist patients with enrollment in pharmaceutical assistance programs.
- Track, monitor, and manage on-site medication samples.
- Build working relationships with pharmaceutical representatives.
- Respond to pharmacy inquiries regarding prescriptions, refills, and medication interactions.
- Handle patient calls related to medication questions, concerns, and provider messages.
- Support physicians and office managers with administrative tasks as needed.
- Work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
