  • Deep understanding of IT PMO operating models, lean portfolio management, capacity-based prioritization, flow and outcome metrics, executive reporting, financial oversight, risk management, and decision governance.
  • Strong knowledge of quality systems, validation governance, data integrity, regulatory expectations, inspection readiness, and risk-based assurance for IT systems.
  • Proven vendor management capability, including partner performance oversight, contract alignment, cost discipline, service quality, and accountability for commitments.
  • Ability to establish scalable standards, standard operating procedures, controls, metrics, and reporting practices that improve transparency, governance maturity, compliance posture, and delivery confidence.
  • Ability to identify, prioritize, and scale automation opportunities across PMO and QA operations, including automated workflows, test automation, reporting automation, metrics generation, evidence capture, and AI-assisted delivery practices.
  • Executive communication, stakeholder management, facilitation, influence, conflict resolution, and decision-support skills are required.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, matrixed, regulated, and evolving environment while balancing speed, quality, risk, and business value.
  • Ability to run a governance forum for the CEO and executive leadership team, present an unwelcome status clearly, and convert executive decisions into sequenced plans quickly.

  • Working familiarity with modern delivery, automation, and quality tooling, including enterprise portfolio management platforms, workflow automation, continuous integration and continuous delivery, automated testing frameworks, automated regression management, continuous compliance evidence, analytics dashboards, and emerging AI-assisted tooling in delivery, testing, and reporting.
  • Willingness to travel 20% domestically and internationally, as required.
Responsibilities
  • Own the enterprise delivery operating model, including methods, governance standards, tooling, and portfolio data, and deliberately evolve it by retiring practices that add ceremony without reducing risk.
  • Establish a portfolio performance system based on outcome and flow measures, including delivery cycle time, throughput, predictability, escaped defects, and benefit realization against the business case.
  • Provide portfolio-level oversight of plans, funding, capacity, dependencies, risks, and executive decisions, maintaining clear accountability, timely escalation, and an authoritative view of portfolio health trusted by IT and business leadership.
  • Provide dedicated program management office services to CEO- and executive-leadership-team-sponsored enterprise initiatives that cross functions and cannot be governed within a single department.
  • Manage and report on Corporate Strategic Deliverables end to end by agreeing on deliverable definitions and success measures with sponsoring executives, maintaining the master plan and dependency map, running the cadence, and producing executive reporting.
  • Maintain authoritative status for every Corporate Strategic Deliverable, identify recovery owners and dates for at-risk or off-track work, and escalate divergence early.
  • Advise the executive leadership team on sequencing when corporate and departmental commitments compete for people, funding, or system-freeze windows, presenting capacity constraints for decisions.
  • Set the direction for quality engineering and compliance assurance, moving from document-heavy, end-of-cycle validation to risk-based, continuous validation with controls embedded in the delivery pipeline.
  • Ensure quality assurance standards, controls, documentation expectations, and governance practices support applicable GxP, validation, data integrity, SOX, privacy, and compliance requirements.
  • Build automated testing frameworks, AI-assisted test generation and review practices, environment and release automation, automated regression suites, service virtualization where appropriate, and continuous compliance evidence in the delivery pipeline.
  • Represent IT Quality in audits, inspections, quality reviews, governance forums, and cross-functional compliance initiatives, ensuring clear ownership and timely remediation of findings or risks.
  • Reduce the elapsed time and cost of validation on successive releases while maintaining or improving compliance, and report both measures to IT leadership as standing metrics.
  • Lead the agile transformation of technology delivery by establishing product-oriented teams with persistent ownership, backlog and prioritization discipline, and incremental delivery instead of long single-release project cycles.
  • Set and track flow metrics including cycle time, throughput, work in progress, deployment frequency, and change failure rate, using them to remove delivery constraints rather than rank teams.
  • Rationalize governance so oversight is proportional to risk, with lightweight continuous assurance for low-risk changes and full validation rigor for GxP-, SOX-, and data-integrity-critical systems.
  • Coach sponsors, business partners, and vendors in agile ways of working, including funding, governing, and accepting incrementally delivered work.
  • Partner with IT leadership on AI-assisted engineering, testing, and delivery-tool adoption, and establish quality and compliance guardrails for safe use at scale.
  • Lead, coach, and develop PMO and QA team members, including employees, contractors, consultants, and vendor resources, with a focus on leadership growth, accountability, and succession depth.
  • Build organizational capability across portfolio governance, product and program leadership, agile delivery, quality engineering, validation governance, vendor management, and delivery excellence, including a reskilling path for project managers moving into product-oriented roles.
  • Foster a collaborative culture focused on accountability, continuous improvement, learning, and business partnership.
  • Build strong relationships with IT leaders, business stakeholders, project sponsors, site quality teams, vendors, and external partners.
  • Manage vendor and consulting partner relationships to ensure delivery quality, contract alignment, cost discipline, and compliance with company standards; shift agreements toward outcome- and capacity-based models that support incremental delivery.
  • Influence across levels and functions to drive alignment, resolve conflicts, and support timely decision-making.
  • Identify and lead opportunities to automate PMO processes, QA practices, standard operating procedures, templates, intake workflows, status reporting, dashboarding, controls evidence, test execution, regression tracking, and governance routines to reduce manual effort and improve transparency, consistency, and cycle time.
  • Drive lessons learned, post-project reviews, governance maturity improvements, and quality trend analysis to improve future project delivery, compliance posture, and partner performance.
  • Promote pragmatic, scalable ways of working that balance speed, quality, risk, and business value.
  • Establish automation roadmaps and adoption metrics for PMO and QA capabilities, prioritizing high-value use cases such as automated portfolio reporting, workflow orchestration, test automation coverage, defect analytics, release-readiness evidence, and AI-assisted delivery support.
Desired Qualifications
  • An advanced degree is preferred.
  • Consumer packaged goods industry experience and experience working in GxP, FDA, SOX, or other regulated environments are preferred.

Orajel class action lawsuit claims children's toothpaste mislabeled as 'natural'

Orajel class action lawsuit claims children's toothpaste mislabeled as 'natural' By Top Class Actions | October 17, 2026. Orajel class action lawsuit overview: * Who: Plaintiff Janet Ross filed a class action lawsuit against Church & Dwight Co. Inc. * Why: Ross alleges that Church & Dwight misrepresented its Orajel Naturals toothpaste products as "natural" despite containing synthetic ingredients. * Where: The Orajel class action lawsuit was filed in New York federal court. A new class action lawsuit alleges Church & Dwight misrepresented its Orajel Naturals toothpaste products as "natural" despite containing synthetic ingredients. Plaintiff Janet Ross filed the class action lawsuit against Church & Dwight on Oct. 8 in New York federal court, alleging violations of state business and consumer laws. According to the lawsuit, the company's Orajel Naturals line of anti-cavity fluoride toothpastes for children is marketed as "natural" despite containing synthetic ingredients. The lawsuit alleges Church & Dwight misled consumers by prominently labeling the products as "Orajel Naturals" and using flavor names like "Natural Fruity Bubbles," "Natural Berry" and "Natural Watermelon." The Orajel class action lawsuit claims these representations led consumers to believe the products were free of synthetic ingredients and suitable for young children. Ross claims she purchased the Orajel Naturals PAW Patrol Anti-Cavity Fluoride Toothpaste in July 2025, relying on the company's representations that the product contained only natural ingredients. Ross says she would not have purchased the product, or would not have paid the price she did, had she known it contained synthetic ingredients. Children's toothpaste contains synthetic detergent, lawsuit alleges. The Orajel class action lawsuit argues that the Orajel Naturals toothpaste contains cocamidopropyl betaine (CAPB), a synthetic detergent produced through industrial chemical synthesis. The lawsuit further alleges that Church & Dwight compounded the deception by labeling CAPB as "coconut-derived" on the ingredient panels, which misled consumers into believing it was a natural ingredient. Ross claims Church & Dwight's use of child-friendly packaging featuring popular characters like PAW Patrol, Super Mario and Toy Story further targeted parents of young children, encouraging them to pay a premium for what they believed were natural products. The complaint alleges Church & Dwight charged more for the Orajel Naturals products than for comparable children's toothpastes not marketed as natural. The Orajel class action lawsuit asserts claims for violations of New York General Business Law and common-law fraud. Ross seeks to represent a nationwide class of consumers who purchased the Orajel Naturals products for personal use as well as a New York subclass. The lawsuit demands actual, statutory and treble damages as well as restitution and injunctive relief. Meanwhile, Procter & Gamble, Haleon and Colgate-Palmolive stand accused of falsely advertising certain toothpaste products as fighting gingivitis while containing sodium lauryl sulfate, a known gum irritant. What do you think about the allegations in this Orajel class action lawsuit? Join the discussion in the comments. Ross is represented by Philip J. Furia of Furia Law LLC. The Orajel class action lawsuit is Ross v. Church & Dwight Co. Inc., Case No. 2:26-cv-06491, in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York. Don't miss out! AABDC celebrates 25 years of Asian American excellence in Business at Cipriani Wall Street.

AABDC celebrates 25 years of Asian American excellence in Business at Cipriani Wall Street. NEW YORK (TIP): On September 16, 2026, the Asian American Business Development Center (AABDC) celebrated the 25th anniversary of the Outstanding 50 Asian Americans in Business Award at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City. The anniversary gala welcomed more than 1,000 guests, bringing together corporate executives, entrepreneurs, public officials, and community leaders to recognize this year's honorees and celebrate a quarter century of Asian American achievement in business. The evening marked two milestones: Outstanding 50 Awards's 25th anniversary and the nation's 250th anniversary. As an America250 Supporting Partner, AABDC brought these occasions together to recognize Asian Americans' contributions to the country's economic and social development. From the early Chinese immigrants who helped build the transcontinental railroad to today's leaders in finance, technology, healthcare, and consumer products, generations of Asian Americans have helped shape the American story. Since its establishment in 2001, Outstanding 50 Awards has recognized more than 1,200 Asian American executives and entrepreneurs. Their achievements span industries, career paths, and business models, from leading major divisions of global companies to bringing new technologies to market and building businesses from the ground up. Over 25 years, the awards have also helped build a community. By bringing honorees together across industries and generations, Outstanding 50 Awards creates opportunities to exchange ideas, develop relationships, and share experiences with younger professionals. The anniversary gala celebrated that continuing connection alongside the accomplishments of the 2026 honorees. The evening was hosted by Ramy Inocencio, CBS News correspondent and a 2016 Outstanding 50 Awards honoree. With a journalism career spanning the United States and Asia, including roles at Bloomberg Television and The Wall Street Journal, Inocencio returned to Outstanding 50 Awards as both the evening's host and a member of its alumni community. AABDC Founder and President John Wang delivered welcoming remarks. Since founding AABDC in 1994 and launching the Outstanding 50 Awards in 2001, John has worked to expand opportunities for Asian American businesses and bring greater public recognition to Asian American professionals. His longstanding commitment has helped Outstanding 50 Awards grow into a platform where recognition continues beyond the awards ceremony through relationships, mentorship, and support for emerging leaders. The evening's keynote address was delivered by Rosie Rios, Chair of America250 and the 43rd Treasurer of the United States. Her participation connected AABDC's anniversary celebration with the national commemoration of 250 years of American independence. For AABDC, this connection offered an opportunity to place Asian American business achievement within the broader history of the nation. Recognizing today's leaders also means acknowledging the generations whose work, determination, and entrepreneurship helped create opportunities for those who followed. Jay Yu, Founder, Executive Chairman and President of NANO Nuclear Energy, delivered special remarks. A 2021 Outstanding 50 Awards honoree and a supporter of the Outstanding 50 Alumni Club, Yu represented the continuing involvement of past recipients in the Outstanding 50 Awards community. His participation reflected the role alumni can play in sustaining connections and supporting the program's future. AABDC presented the Pinnacle Award, the evening's highest individual honor, to Ravi Saligram, Chairman of Church & Dwight. The award recognized his distinguished career and contributions to business leadership. Saligram previously served as Chief Executive Officer of Newell Brands, Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers, and OfficeMax. Across these companies, his leadership encompassed consumer products, auctions, and office supplies, with extensive experience in business transformation, operations, and global growth. His recognition celebrated a career of guiding organizations through change and building businesses across different markets. The Visionary Impact Award was presented to The Asian American Foundation (TAAF), represented by CEO Norman Chen. Founded in 2021 amid rising anti-Asian hate, TAAF has worked to address longstanding gaps in philanthropic support for Asian American and Pacific Islander communities. Through initiatives supporting community safety, education, research, and economic opportunity, TAAF brings resources and partnerships to organizations serving AAPI communities. The award recognized its commitment to strengthening those communities, increasing public understanding, and creating opportunities for future generations. Alongside these special recognitions, AABDC honored 49 outstanding leaders whose careers demonstrate the breadth of Asian American talent in business. This year's honorees represented companies including PepsiCo, Morgan Stanley, JPMorgan Chase, Goldman Sachs, Bank of America, IBM, Pfizer, EY, Deloitte, the New York Stock Exchange, and Colgate-Palmolive, as well as entrepreneurial ventures across investment, healthcare technology, and consumer brands. In consumer products, PepsiCo Senior Vice President Mariko Roberts and Colgate-Palmolive Vice President of Global Innovation Implementation Shira Pilch exemplified leadership in supply chains, research, and innovation. Financial services honorees included Jonathan Lam of Morgan Stanley, Julian Liau of JPMorgan Chase, Jehan Ilahi of Goldman Sachs, and Bonnie Hyun of the New York Stock Exchange. Their responsibilities span institutional securities, wealth management, investor relations, and capital markets. Sid Khosla of EY and Neelam Sharma of Deloitte represented leadership in professional services, while Pfizer Vice President Pirada Suphaphiphat Allen and IBM Fellow Jerry Chow reflected advances in vaccine development and quantum computing. Together with their fellow honorees, they illustrated the many ways Asian American professionals contribute to business growth and technological progress. Manish Panjwani, Senior Managing Director at Accenture, delivered closing remarks. His involvement in mentoring Asian American small business owners and startup founders echoed a central purpose of the Outstanding 50 Awards community: sharing experience and helping others move forward. AABDC extends its heartfelt thanks to the honorees, sponsors, corporate partners, organizing committee members, staff, and guests who made this anniversary celebration possible. Their participation and support have helped sustain the Outstanding 50 Awards over 25 years. As The Indian Panorama look ahead, AABDC will continue to recognize outstanding Asian American business leaders and create opportunities for alumni and new honorees to connect, collaborate, and support younger generations. Thank you for being part of this milestone and for helping carry the Asian American community forward. (Based on a press release issued by AABDC)

Thousands of cold remedy nasal swabs recalled nationwide.

Thousands of cold remedy nasal swabs recalled nationwide. by: Matthew Euzarraga, Addy Bink Posted: Aug 30, 2026 / 12:29 PM CDT Updated: Aug 30, 2026 / 01:59 PM CDT NEW YORK (WPIX) - Thousands of cartons of a popular over-the-counter remedy used to relieve cold and flu symptoms are being recalled nationwide, according to an enforcement recall. Zicam, a homeopathic medicated nasal swab containing menthol and eucalyptus, was recalled earlier this month because of "potential microbial contamination," the company said on its website. The FDA has since classified the voluntary recall, issued by Church & Dwight Co., Inc., as a Class II recall. At this level, the FDA warns that use or exposure to a product may cause temporary or reversible adverse health effects. "At Church & Dwight, we are committed to maintaining consumer trust by upholding the highest quality standards and ensuring the safety of our products," the company said in a statement. "As part of this commitment, we are voluntarily recalling all lots of Zicam Cold Remedy Nasal Swabs and Zicam Nasal AllClear Swabs. We are working closely with the FDA throughout this process to ensure that all appropriate actions are taken to protect our consumers. The safety and well-being of our consumers is our top priority." The recall covers more than 318,000 cartons of Zicam Cold Remedy Nasal Swabs and Zicam Nasal AllClear Swabs. Details from the FDA recall report show only cartons with the following lot numbers and expiration dates are impacted: * Lot # UN52882, Exp Date: 04/30/2028 * Lot # UN53431, Exp Date: 06/30/2028 * Lot # UN60411, Exp Date: 08/31/2028 The Zicam products were available nationwide. If you're unsure whether you have a Zicam product that's impacted, the company has a website that will allow you to check. To do so, you will need to take a picture of the product label. Should your Zicam product be a part of the recall, you are advised to stop using it immediately. Once you have submitted photos of the product's label and it is determined to be part of the recall, Zicam says you will be asked to provide contact information and return your product. You will then receive a refund within seven to 10 days.
