  • College Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5+ years’ experience in Product Marketing or related marketing discipline at a B2B technology organization.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including copywriting, both client-facing and internal.
  • 5+ years of proven experience developing high-quality product and solution level content for B2B audiences or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience working cross-functionally, especially with marketing disciplines and sales initiatives.
  • Demonstrated record of successfully packaging and shipping the results of high-quality projects with independence and confidence.
  • Track record of influencing behavior at a variety of levels in the organization, including cross-functional leaders.
  • A lifelong learner who can quickly get up to speed with new markets and industries and devise positioning and messaging solutions to impact key personas in those markets.
  • Experienced user of MS Office toolset (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
Responsibilities
  • Guide product narrative direction and ensure alignment with product priorities.
  • Develop compelling, differentiated messaging and positioning, with a clear understanding of the ideal customer profiles, targeted industry segments and the core capabilities of the offering; provide a clear connection between the needs of the customer and the power of the product in a tangible and measurable way.
  • Drive and develop unique and high impact content for product marketing initiatives across a variety of deliverables (e.g. case studies, blogs, sell sheets, website copy, presentations, videos, etc.). Work with cross-functional practitioners (product managers, marketing/demand generation, etc.) to create and optimize content for enablement and conversion.
  • Know the product strategy inside and out and use it to impact everything you touch. Become a subject matter expert on the target audiences, products (ours and our main competitors), and market trends.
  • Work closely with marketing/sales/channel teams to ensure the value proposition, assets, training, support structures, and incentive plans are all in place for enabling a strong sales motion.
