About the Job

Requirements

  • Qualifications equivalent to secondary-school education or General Educational Development (GED) assessment tests.
  • Ability to work with night teams or during weekends.
  • Willingness to participate voluntarily in on-call service during non-working hours and weekends as needed.
  • Ability to work comfortably in confined, wet, dusty, hot, and cold environments.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving history.
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 35 kilograms at chest height.
  • Ability to move physically and perform activities including lifting, bending, kneeling, crouching, reaching, finger dexterity, balancing, standing, speaking, and listening.
  • Ability to use a respiratory protection system.
  • Ideally, certification in pest elimination and/or a professional license compliant with applicable local legislation, including Biocide and H0+BO.
  • Successful completion of a medical fitness examination and, where permitted by applicable regulations, substance screening.

Responsibilities

  • Establish effective working relationships with a variety of customers and create partnerships based on best practices to identify and resolve pest problems.
  • Track product and service offerings and industry developments to improve pest-prevention and pest-elimination services and solution sales.
  • Use portable computer equipment to manage service and document structural, disinfection, and pest issues.
  • Provide treatment and quality-inspection services that exceed customer expectations and specifications.
  • Provide customers with written service documentation and advice for maintaining pest-free premises.
  • Use pesticides according to label recommendations and maintain compliance with applicable legislation.
  • Plan efficient and productive work routes and deliver a 100% service level.
  • Present reports and other documents accurately and within deadlines.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience in customer service.
  • Ability to sell value-added products to existing customers.
  • Experience with routes or in the pest-elimination sector.
  • Ability to plan or organize work with limited supervision, including field-work experience.
