 Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) – PRN | Charlevoix, MI

Concept Rehab & Engage Consulting is looking for a compassionate and motivated Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to join our therapy team in Charlevoix, Michigan!

What You'll Do

As an Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will work under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide quality, patient-centered care.

• Provide skilled occupational therapy interventions according to established treatment plans
• Help patients improve independence with activities of daily living and functional tasks
• Provide therapeutic activities and exercises
• Assist patients with improving strength, coordination, mobility and safety
• Monitor patient progress and communicate changes to the supervising OT
• Educate patients and caregivers as appropriate
• Complete accurate and timely documentation
• Collaborate with PT, SLP, nursing and other members of the interdisciplinary team
• Promote patient safety and positive outcomes
• Build meaningful relationships with patients and their families

What We're Looking For

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• Current Michigan OTA license or eligibility for licensure
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Skilled nursing, post-acute or geriatric experience is a plus
