Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a technology, customer service, or transportation-related field
  • 1 to 3 years of experience implementing software applications
  • Ability to write effective lesson plans, objectives, training materials and activities
  • Ability to skillfully conduct in-person training in a classroom or virtual environment.
  • Demonstrable ability to learn quickly and to remain current with rapidly developing software in an ever-changing industry.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite of products (Mail, Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.)
  • Knowledgeable in Microsoft product suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Presentation experience to medium and small groups, both remote and in-person
  • Ability to educate a variety of roles and parties involved in the project (IT, Operations, Users)
  • Strong relationship management skills, including working in a fast-paced environment, and interacting with senior management and executives.
  • Willing to travel up to 75% of the time.
  • Transportation industry experience-preferred
  • Transportation system experience (TMS, Telematics, Video)-preferred.
  • Knowledgeable on Trimble Transportation Products-preferred.
Responsibilities
  • Plan, develop, and conduct training programs, which may consist of in-person classroom training, webinars, and virtual training sessions.
  • Prepare learning objectives, outlines, and program components.
  • Prepare presentations and training notes for training sessions.
  • Develop, organize, and provide training activities and exercises used during training sessions.
  • Master the setup and usage of new and existing products developed by Trimble’s development team and communicate this knowledge to new and existing customers.
  • Manage multiple, complex training projects simultaneously.
  • Conduct interviews with customers to better understand their needs.
  • Communicate with all relevant stakeholders (clients, employees, management) proactively throughout training projects, including communicating difficult, sensitive, or confidential information tactfully.
  • Facilitate training sessions with a high level of organization to set agendas and expectations and summarize progress and tasks required with customers.
  • Identify and communicate project risks and roadblocks, with creative solutions to realize project and business objectives regardless of changing circumstances.
  • Deliver presentations, remote and in person, to customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure resources, tools, and processes are in place to attain Customer’s Business Objectives.
