About the job
- A minimum degree in Logistics or Engineering, with a specialization in Industrial Engineering or a related field; postgraduate study is desirable.
- Advanced English proficiency is required.
- At least 7 years of experience is required.
- Experience managing logistics areas, including physical logistics, planning, traffic, foreign trade, and warehouse management.
- Knowledge of original-equipment customer portals and directives, including Ford, FCA, GM, Honda, and Nissan.
- Knowledge of planning, physical logistics, traffic, and Lean.
- Knowledge of the environmental, occupational health, and safety objectives, environmental aspects, operational controls, workplace hazards and risks, safety and environmental policy, management-system leaders, and emergency response plan relevant to the work area.
- Compliance with company health, safety, and environmental standards; timely reporting of unsafe acts or conditions; and participation in role-appropriate safety, occupational health, and environmental training.
- Competencies include future orientation, goal orientation, strategic thinking and action, cooperation, presentation skills, group-process management, conflict management, credibility, and strategy administration.
- Administer logistics operations efficiently for AguP (Bosch Aguascalientes).
- Oversee safety in warehouses and logistics areas, customer service levels (OE/AA/OES), logistics costs, inventory (TCT/value), overtime (LOM/LOW), and logistics-related IDC and CPM.
- Promote safety, health, and environmental protection in accordance with ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and applicable standards.
- Attend daily production meetings; weekly and monthly AguP Leader Team and OPM Leader Team NA meetings; monthly CC/LOG (CC/LO Germany) meetings; MRB management meetings; weekly logistics staff and safety meetings; and monthly TMM problem-solving meetings.
- Serve as a member of the Logistics Council North America (LCNA).
- Ensure achievement of assigned logistics KPIs for AguP.
- Manage improvement projects in logistics operations.
- Manage BPyy and CFx activities and report deviations.
- Ensure deadlines are met for action plans, GPDs, OPLs for the management review, and related items.
- Escalate supplier issues promptly according to the CP escalation matrix.
- Identify the leader of the occupational health and safety and environmental management systems and carry out the emergency response plan when needed.
- A postgraduate degree is desirable.
