Requirements
  • Enrollment in a PhD program in an AV-related field (e.g. computer vision, machine learning, robotics, control) with multiple research publications in top conferences or journals; we also consider exceptional MSc/BSc students
  • Strong expertise in machine learning / computer vision / graphics / robotics
  • Track record of driving ML research projects from start to completion, including conception, problem definition, experimentation, iteration, and publication
  • Strong programming skills in Python and/or C++
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
Responsibilities
  • Conduct research to solve critical issues where a solution is uncertain and highly ambiguous
  • Propose and execute alternative solutions and challenge the status quo Implement research ideas, conduct experiments and summarize results and findings
  • Publish findings and new methods to top-tier conferences and journals
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience using deep-learning frameworks, e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc
  • Experience in deploying perception algorithms and models into real-world environments
  • Experience in the autonomous driving industry
