Junior Accounting Specialist
About the job
- A Bachelor's degree or new-graduate status in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
- Ability to handle confidential financial information responsibly.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and familiarity with ERP systems.
- Eagerness to learn and develop a career in Accounting.
- Support the Accounting team in daily operations and month-end closing processes.
- Record, reconcile, and monitor invoices, payments, and expense reports.
- Ensure accuracy and proper classification of general ledger entries.
- Assist in the collection and accounts receivable aging process.
- Support the control and reconciliation of intercompany transactions.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and Turkish accounting regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of VAT, withholding tax, and other statutory declarations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records for audit purposes.
- Organize and maintain digital and physical financial documentation.
- Assist in updating internal accounting procedures and manuals.
- Provide support for other administrative and finance-related tasks as needed.
- Familiarity with Oracle ERP systems.
