Responsibilities
  • Own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for key business-to-business transportation and logistics platform capabilities.

  • Communicate priorities, trade-offs, progress, risks, and product performance to senior stakeholders.
  • Help strengthen product-management standards, including roadmap planning, discovery practices, release readiness, and post-launch evaluation.
Desired Qualifications

What believers are saying

  • Betakit reported 1,000 tons of merchandise moved through SecondShop's B2B channel by 2024.
  • Its January 2026 warranty-policy update shows active product investment and customer-trust focus.
  • The 2026 careers page signals hiring, while SecondShop still markets nationally across Canada.

What critics are saying

  • SecondShop has only $2 million CAD funding, leaving little room against Amazon and Walmart.
  • Facebook Marketplace and liquidation auctions already own cheaper resale discovery in Canada.
  • If retailer supply dries up, SecondShop loses inventory and its marketplace model breaks.

What makes SecondShop unique

  • SecondShop bundles reverse logistics, warranties, and home delivery for Canadian re-commerce.
  • It sources overstock, open-box, and like-new goods directly from retailers and manufacturers.
  • Its 2024 launch targeted mainstream-like shopping, not auction-style liquidation or pickup hassles.
