Essential Requirements:

• Strong, broad engineering knowledge at the hardware level with a solid understanding of full system architecture and how all components work together.

• Proven ability to multitask and manage multiple fast-paced projects with short development cycles (weeks to months).

• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think creatively and find solutions outside of conventional approaches.

• Effective networking and communication skills with the ability to engage and collaborate across multiple teams and stakeholders.

Desirable Requirements:

• Experience with server product lines and/or previous work on platform development teams.

• Background working directly with customers and translating their needs into actionable engineering plans.

Compensation

Dell is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this position is $182,750 - $236,500

You will:

• Evaluate custom solution requests from sales teams, assess technical feasibility, and identify any challenges or risks before committing to a project.

• Coordinate with downstream engineering teams to schedule builds, plan validation activities, and ensure factory readiness for each custom project.

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing effectively and knowing when to escalate or seek support.

• Determine material requirements and work cross-functionally to ensure all resources are in place for successful program execution.

• Collaborate with global sales and engineering stakeholders across the global engineering teams to deliver customized server solutions on time.
