Requirements
  • Applicants must have an advanced degree (M.D., Ph.D.) with specialization in Psychiatry or Clinical Psychology from an accredited program and following accredited training pathways in alignment with suitability for licensure and clinical practice in the State of Ohio.
  • In some cases, individuals with substantial research programs and funding but without clinical training or eligibility may be considered for this role (e.g., Ph.D., in Cognitive Neuroscience or similar), provided they are actively interested in and demonstrate prior commitment to training clinical professionals and supporting clinical care.
Responsibilities
  • Faculty responsibilities include advancing an externally funded program of research, publishing research in high quality peer-reviewed scientific journals, mentoring trainees across levels of academic development, and participating in division, department, college and university committees and initiatives.
Desired Qualifications
  • strong record of external research funding, or high potential for extramural funding.
  • expertise in randomized clinical trial designs, overdose risk, and treatment recovery are particularly encouraged to apply.
