Remote UK or Ireland based employee. Must be able to travel extensively to 3PL warehouse location in UK and other international sites

This is a leadership position that will:

• Serve as the key interface between Toast and our global partners to manage forward and reverse logistics operations in the UK/Ireland markets
• Develop and support the international fulfillment strategy, and implement through sustained execution of logistics partner operations
• Cultivate trusted relationships with external logistics partners at both the management and operational levels in order to appropriately drive desired outcomes
• Ensure Toast HW Ops objectives are met - pursue continued end customer satisfaction, adhere to financial objectives, and achieve operational excellence in service levels and quality 

About this roll* (Responsibilities) 

• Manage and communicate supply chain risks to Toast hardware operations in international markets, in a timely manner by collaborating with cross functional teams internally and externally; proactively escalating issues while offering mitigation/solutions to leadership
• Responsible for documenting requirements for logistics partners and working with internal teams at Toast such as fulfillment, commercial sourcing, onboarding, care, product, quality, international tax, accounting and business technology, to ensure delivery of hardware orders is achieved at the right mix of service, cost and quality
• Responsible for joint development and management of KPIs in global hardware operations, and also ensuring external partners are set up to achieve these metrics consistently
• Responsible for working with planning and finance partners in developing and meeting operational budget for logistics spend in the UK/Ireland markets
• Accountable for the accuracy and operational excellence of 3PL partners at the transactional level which includes inventory accuracy, stock availability and delivery performance 
• As business owner, support the systems integration between Toast’s technology teams and international logistics partners 

Do you have the right ingredients*? (Requirements)

• 7+ years of progressive experience in Supply Chain and/or Logistics Operations management in the UK and/or EU market
• Expert level proficiency in managing of Transportation and Warehouse Operations (as Shipper and/or 3PL operator)
• Familiarity with UK / EU trade compliance regulations 
• Experience working with fulfillment tools such as WMS, TMS and ERPs like Netsuite
• Strong project management and people management skills
• Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills
• High proficiency in analytical, critical thinking and issue resolution skills
• Must demonstrate attention to detail and bring a results driven approach with ability to drive solutions across multiple cross-functional teams
• Ability to analyze and present the drivers of operational, financial and technical data
• Proven ability to work effectively in a dynamic, changing environment and to adapt while focusing on key goals and objectives
