Event Bartender

About the company

Gage Marine runs boat dealerships, lake cruises and waterfront hospitality businesses for Wisconsin residents and visitors. Its Lake Geneva Cruise Line sells narrated sightseeing trips and private charters, while PIER 290 serves American food beside the lake. The boating business sells boats and charges for repairs, storage and pier services, so customers buy a boat and maintain it through the same operator. Lake Life Catering handles private events, and the Lake Life Store sells apparel and home decor, extending the group beyond boat ownership to visitors spending time around the lake. With operating roots dating to 1873, Gage Marine is headquartered in Williams Bay, Wisconsin.

Simplify's Take

What believers are saying

• Winter services extend the work calendar: Gage's storage operation lists on-site staff year-round.
• Delavan's full-time technician opening includes an annual tool allowance and replacement batteries for personally owned cordless tools.
• Green Lake pairs boating with dining: Gage owns the lakefront marina and Norton's supper club.

What critics are saying

• Delavan technician schedules stretch through summer holidays: the position lists 40-50 hours weekly, including weekends.
• Cruise activity is seasonal: Gage's regular tours span six months, followed by holiday sailings around Thanksgiving and December.
• Gage's cruise distribution stays narrow: tickets sold through Viator, GetYourGuide, and other third-party vendors are invalid.

What makes Gage Marine unique

• Cruise access has an exclusive anchor: Gage's cruise line is Black Point Estate's exclusive tour provider.
• Gage's valet bundles the seasons: launch-and-retrieval pricing includes winter boat storage.
• Gage Boat Club sends customers across the group: members receive sister-restaurant and cruise discounts.
