Requirements

  • Hands-on Pricefx implementation experience with configuration ownership.
  • Strong proficiency in Groovy scripting, or an equivalent scripting background with demonstrated Groovy delivery.
  • Solid understanding of pricing concepts, including price lists, discounts, approvals, segmentation, customer and product hierarchies, rebate structures, and governance controls.
  • Proficiency with Git-based version control and practical continuous integration and continuous delivery execution, including pipeline-as-code, automated validation, and controlled environment promotion.
  • Experience working in cross-functional delivery teams involving functional, data and integration, quality assurance, and release management.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • At least a Bachelor's degree; Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or a related field is preferred.
  • At least 4 years of experience.
  • Oral and written proficiency in English.
  • Ability to translate requirements into scalable configuration and analytics outputs.
  • Strong Pricefx configuration and Groovy-based extension skills.
  • An analytics mindset focused on KPI accuracy and business impact.
  • AI-aware delivery skills, including governance, explainability, and operationalization of insights.
  • Testing discipline and structured defect management.
  • Ability to communicate risks, dependencies, and design tradeoffs clearly.
  • Ability to collaborate across distributed and multi-time-zone teams.

Responsibilities

  • Configure and extend Pricefx using Groovy scripting to implement pricing logic, workflows, data transformations, validations, and user interface behaviors.
  • Build and maintain pricing procedures, including discount guardrails, approval workflows, price list logic, segmentation models, and agreement constructs aligned to business requirements.
  • Develop reusable configuration components and accelerators that follow engineering standards for scalability, performance, and maintainability.
  • Partner with functional and analytics teams to build AI-assisted pricing use cases, including intelligent deal guidance and next-best discount recommendations within governance guardrails; anomaly detection for price changes, margin leakage, and discount outliers; customer and product segmentation and elasticity signals; and alerts for pricing compliance, approvals, and policy exceptions.
  • Support pricing analytics buildout, including KPI definitions for realized price, win rate versus discount, margin waterfall, price variance, and rebate effectiveness; data preparation and validation; and insight outputs and dashboard enablement.
  • Collaborate with data and integration teams to ensure analytic datasets are accurate, reconciled, and auditable, including hierarchies, time-series integrity, and governance controls.
  • Participate in discovery sessions and requirements refinement workshops.
  • Translate functional requirements into working Pricefx configurations and analytics outputs.
  • Implement and maintain continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines for Pricefx delivery assets, including Groovy scripts, configuration artifacts, and deployment automation, to enable repeatable, auditable releases across development, test, user acceptance testing, and production environments.
  • Execute unit testing; support system integration testing and user acceptance testing cycles; and manage defect triage and resolution.
  • Support deployment, cutover, and hypercare activities.
  • Troubleshoot configuration, Groovy logic, and production data issues.
  • Work with integration and data teams on inbound and outbound interfaces involving enterprise resource planning, customer relationship management, configure-price-quote, and master data systems.
  • Ensure correct mapping, validations, and error handling for pricing master data, agreements, and rebate datasets.
  • Support reconciliation of price lists, customer hierarchies, product structures, and commercial conditions.
  • Produce technical documentation, including configuration designs, Groovy logic documentation, test cases, deployment guides, and runbooks.
  • Participate in code and configuration reviews and follow secure engineering practices.
  • Ensure adherence to delivery standards and quality controls.
  • Independently deliver medium-complexity Pricefx configurations and Groovy logic with limited supervision.
  • Implement KPI logic and validate analytics outputs for accuracy and business alignment.
  • Identify edge cases and propose configuration alternatives and tradeoffs.
  • Provide effort estimates for assigned user stories or workstreams.
  • Mentor Associates and Analysts on configuration best practices.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience building pricing analytics, including margin leakage analysis, deal performance, price realization, and rebate effectiveness.
  • Exposure to artificial intelligence and machine learning use cases in pricing or commercial analytics, including segmentation, forecasting signals, anomaly detection, and elasticity concepts.
  • Familiarity with integration patterns, including REST APIs, ETL/ELT, and validation and error handling.
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum environments and with tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
  • Exposure to ERP, CRM, and CPQ ecosystems and enterprise master data management.
  • Pricefx certification.
  • Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery platforms such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or Jenkins; familiarity with artifact repositories and release governance.
