Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree from an accredited university and 15 or more years of experience in the compensation field.
  • Previous experience working at or with a government subcontractor.
  • Previous experience working in or for the SRR/SRMC compensation department.
  • Previous consulting experience with deep knowledge of market pricing methodology.
  • Project management experience.
  • Experience using MarketPay and JDExpert software.
  • Strong analytical ability using both qualitative and quantitative data.
  • Willingness to perform work ranging from the highest to lowest level as needed to achieve results.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Adobe.
  • Eligibility for Facility Access Authorization, also referred to as Employment Authorization, by the designated U.S. Government security office.
  • Ability to submit to and qualify for varying levels of background investigation, up to a Top Secret or Department of Energy Q clearance.
  • Ability to complete a Financial Disclosure Statement if required.
  • Ability to perform duties competently and professionally while meeting milestones and delivery schedules.
  • Ability to produce thorough, accurate, appropriately documented work products that comply with established criteria.
  • Ability to use business tools and technology, including Microsoft Office, Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Adobe Acrobat, data analytic tools, and Visio.
Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the compensation and executive teams to align the overall compensation strategy with the company’s compensation philosophy.
  • Implement company-wide programmatic changes aligned with the compensation philosophy, regulatory requirements, and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives.
  • Provide expert advice and counsel and create, develop, and implement compensation programs and tools.
  • Apply government contractor rules and protocols to advise on compliant compensation programs.
  • Lead high-level change initiatives involving system creation, selection, advancement, and direct compensation, including base-pay structures and the MarketPay system.
  • Lead systems initiatives, including build-versus-buy assessments, research, vendor selection, proposal development, implementation, system configuration, operational decision-making, and communication rollout.
  • Develop compensation policies, procedures, and practices.
  • Provide compensation management for assigned areas and projects, including annual market-pricing efforts, job-description projects, and special analyses requested by upper management.
  • Conduct formal or informal market research as needed.
  • Obtain safety training, follow safety rules, and stop work when continuing would be unsafe.
  • Travel occasionally for meetings, events, site visits, or training when required.

  • Advanced proficiency with Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Acrobat, data analytic tools, and Visio.
  • Ability to quickly learn additional business tools as necessary.
