Requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience owning and leading cybersecurity processes or programs, including expertise in cybersecurity data analysis, metrics, reporting, and using data-driven insights to improve security and compliance outcomes.
  • Five to seven years of experience in data analysis.
  • Experience in cybersecurity, compliance, or governance, risk, and compliance environments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Structured Query Language for analyzing large datasets.
  • Familiarity with, or ability to learn, Snowflake and Databricks environments.
  • Experience analyzing data and delivering insights to support compliance reporting, remediation efforts, and risk awareness.
  • Ability to engage and influence technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to create clear, well-structured presentations and reports that support program objectives and key initiatives.
Responsibilities
  • Define, map, and document continuous compliance control requirements aligned with cybersecurity frameworks, regulatory obligations, and internal policies.
  • Continuously test and validate the design and operational effectiveness of technical controls to ensure they mitigate risk as intended and meet compliance standards.
  • Translate regulatory and compliance requirements into functional specifications for engineering and product teams developing internal platforms.
  • Perform pre- and post-deployment validation of platforms and system updates to ensure compliance requirements are embedded and operating effectively.
  • Use data analytics tools to continuously monitor automated controls, analyze system activity, and proactively identify anomalies or control failures.
  • Conduct data analysis, extraction, and manipulation to support internal audits, regulatory inquiries, and broader governance, risk, and compliance efforts.
  • Synthesize complex data into insights through dashboards and presentations, communicating trends, risk posture, and actionable recommendations to technical and executive stakeholders.
  • Mentor and develop junior team members through coaching, knowledge sharing, and constructive feedback.
Desired Qualifications
  • Relevant certifications such as Certified Information Systems Auditor, Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control, Security+, or Certified Information Security Manager are preferred.
  • A Bachelor's Degree is preferred, although equivalent coursework, experience, or extensive related professional experience may be considered.
