Requirements
  • Be board eligible or board certified in anesthesiology.
  • Work independently in the operating room and frequently provide solo, one-on-one care to patients with multiple comorbidities and complex medical conditions.
  • Demonstrate strong skills in invasive clinical monitoring.
Responsibilities
  • Provide anesthesia care in an anesthesia care team model using a combination of medical supervision and independently sitting assigned cases.
  • Provide coverage at 3–4 locations, including obstetrics coverage at two sites, with a primary home base.
  • Provide anesthesia care across neuro/spine, vascular, ear, nose and throat, orthopedic, general surgery, plastic surgery, urology, thoracic, robotic, spinal, epidural, obstetric, non-operating-room, and pediatric cases.
  • Participate in optional 24-hour call, night call, and weekend call as scheduled.
  • Work variable shifts currently ranging from 6 to 14 hours.
