About the job
- A bachelor's degree is required.
- A TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
- At least 3 years of experience with Federal Government budgeting processes and tools is required.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, is required.
- Ability to meet deadlines, adhere to project plans, and work on several projects simultaneously is required.
- Ability to think critically, analyze, and actively listen to solve problems is required.
- Oral and written communication skills are required.
- Research, data gathering, and analytical skills are required.
- Experience with projects on client sites is required.
- Compile and analyze financial information for the organization to support client-directed requirements.
- Champion financial processes, tools, and best practices, and guide the client through routine processes while adhering to the established cadence for budget and forecast updates and variance analysis.
- Derive budget-related data and take budget-related actions using client tools and databases.
- Analyze and visualize budget-related data, mapping prior and planned budget expenditures against organizational priorities and strategy.
- Intermediate to advanced data manipulation and analytical skills using Excel are a plus.
- A graduate degree in a business-related field is preferred.
- Certification in accounting, finance, or project management is preferred.
- Experience with consulting in a professional or internship environment is preferred.
