Requirements
  • A high school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED), or at least one year of experience in a maintenance or technical role, is required.
  • Foundational knowledge of electronics, electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, or mechanical systems is required.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve technical issues efficiently are required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required for coordination and documentation.
  • A self-motivated, proactive approach to managing maintenance tasks independently is required.
  • Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity are required to perform precise maintenance and repair work.
Responsibilities
  • Perform preventive maintenance on automated and production equipment to ensure maximum uptime and consistent performance.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues on complex manufacturing systems.
  • Troubleshoot automation components, including sensors, actuators, controllers, and motion systems, to identify and resolve root causes of failures.
  • Collaborate with engineering, operations, and maintenance teams to coordinate repairs and prioritize maintenance schedules.
  • Adhere to safety protocols, quality procedures, and regulatory requirements to maintain a compliant working environment.
  • Document maintenance activities, equipment performance data, and repair outcomes accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by recommending process or equipment enhancements to improve efficiency and reliability.
Desired Qualifications
  • At least one year of experience maintaining or troubleshooting automation equipment in a manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with programmable logic controllers, sensors, and industrial control systems.
  • Experience using maintenance management systems and preventive maintenance tools.
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma.
  • Understanding of safety standards and regulatory requirements for medical device or high-tech manufacturing.
