Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, advanced degree or training preferred. Paralegal certificate preferred. Various subject matter certifications (i.e., Compliance (SCCE), Privacy (CIPP), Labor & Employment (SHRM)) are desirable.
  • 5+ years of Paralegal, Specialist, Analyst, Project Management, or equivalent experience; experience at a major law firm or in-house at a publicly traded company preferred.
  • Prior experience with privacy, labor & employment, compliance, white-collar defense, or litigation, or similar areas.
  • Strong computer skills, MS Office and prior experience with relevant software (i.e., NAVEX, TRACE, Workday, etc.).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent planning, project management & organizational skills, time management, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Team Player -- ability to work with others directly and indirectly. Ability to interrelate politely, professionally but firmly with demanding clients, influence when needed.
  • Highest integrity.
Responsibilities
  • Support the continued development and implementation of Clorox’s compliance and labor & employment programs and related policies and procedures.
  • Support and provide project management for Clorox’s compliance and labor & employment programs and projects, including confidential projects.
  • Manage programmatic and cross-functional committee governance meetings, including agendas, cadence, presentations, and supporting facilitation.
  • Lead data metrics and analytics regarding compliance and labor & employment programs, including ER and business unit escalations, hotline, third-party due diligence, and training data.
  • Lead global local compliance officer and liaison program, including developing initiatives, strengthening processes, and facilitating meetings.
  • Lead global internal policy review process, including but not limited to, tracking updates of all company policies, ensuring on-time reviews and edits, routing for escalated review and approval, and ensuring on-time postings on a regularly scheduled timeline.
  • Manage compliance support for various international joint ventures, including majority and minority owned joint ventures, as well as third-party risk management and diligence work streams.
  • Support employee training and Workday implementation in the areas of compliance, labor & employment and other subject areas, as needed.
  • Coordinate record keeping and tracking of compliance, and labor, and employment program processes; maintaining program overviews and document repositories.
  • Support attorney work, meeting planning and preparation, conducting research, and assisting with investigations, discovery, and reports of the same.
