Requirements
  • Strong understanding of Allen Bradley or Siemens controls
  • Field(s) of study: Controls, electrical and mechanical engineering
  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD Degree program at an accredited university
  • Proof of enrollment in current or into next program (MS, PhD)
  • Knowledge of system testing and integration processes
  • Experience developing and writing testing scripts and test cases
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Responsibilities
  • Collect equipment availability data to chart departments equipment measurables.
  • Develop and write testing scripts for manufacturing equipment testing cases to ensure proper system functionality
  • Document the Preventative maintenance system integration process, including detailed steps and procedures.
  • Assist engineers and technicians in analyzing test results and identifying areas for improvement
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure all systems are integrated and functioning properly
  • Assist with troubleshooting manufacturing equipment issues and identifying root cause solutions
  • Communicate regularly with senior engineers and other team members to provide progress updates and receive feedback
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to team projects as needed
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of all testing and integration activities
  • Work with a team of skilled tradesmen to understand the principles of manufacturing Electric vehicles.
