About the Job

Requirements

  • A completed degree in Business Administration, Economics, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable qualification.
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in pricing, commercial excellence, or controlling.
  • Experience working in international corporate structures.
  • Experience in projects and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Very good knowledge of Excel, SAP, and business intelligence and reporting solutions.
  • Very good knowledge of costing, cost accounting, and contribution margin accounting.
  • A thorough understanding of international pricing strategies and pricing methodologies.
  • Experience with price realization analyses, price management, and governance processes.
  • Very good German and English language skills.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking.
  • Assertiveness and persuasive ability at management level.
  • A high degree of personal responsibility and results orientation.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • A structured, solution-oriented approach to work.
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritize complex topics.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement international pricing strategies for products, services, and spare parts.
  • Define and manage measures to improve revenue, margin, and price realization.
  • Develop pricing architectures, pricing logic, and pricing guardrails.
  • Analyze market, competitor, and customer data to derive strategic recommendations.
  • Support corporate planning through pricing strategies for long-range planning, budget, and forecast processes.
  • Advise managing directors, sales leaders, and management on pricing matters.
  • Ensure compliance with defined pricing governance policies.
  • Prepare and present decision materials for management and executive leadership.
  • Support special price approvals, escalations, and commercial decisions.
  • Represent company interests regarding price levels, margin development, and profitability.
  • Analyze price trends, margins, discount structures, and contribution margins.
  • Monitor price realization, pricing performance, and commercial key performance indicators.
  • Identify revenue, earnings, and optimization potential.
  • Develop and track measures to sustainably improve results.
  • Plan, coordinate, and implement global pricing measures and annual price increases.
  • Further develop pricing and terms systems.
  • Manage price lists, pricing logic, and pricing processes.
  • Ensure a consistent pricing strategy across countries and organizations.
  • Participate in international pricing projects.
  • Support product launches, system implementations, and organizational changes.
  • Help shape digitization, automation, and artificial intelligence initiatives in pricing.
  • Take responsibility for successful implementation of strategic pricing projects.
  • Support subject-matter development within the pricing team.
  • Deliver presentations, training sessions, and workshops.
  • Conduct meetings and management presentations.
  • Promote a consistent understanding of pricing processes and international pricing logic.
