The Corporate Communications team manages the global reputation of Point72 and all related entities. The team is responsible for all aspects of corporate communications, including media relations, external and internal communications, digital content and distribution, and brand management. We’re a small, collaborative team that works closely with Point72 senior management, functional leaders, and all departments firmwide.
About the Communications Internship
If you are interested in pursuing a career in Communications, this 10-week summer internship will provide you a valuable experience at a complex global firm. The Point72 Communications Team is seeking an organized and detail-oriented intern with a passion for content creation to take on a wide variety of projects and responsibilities to support communications for the firm internally and externally.
Our summer intern will support the Communications team by conducting research and creating content. In this role, you can be an integral part of our team and learn from seasoned media professionals. You will gain exposure to a variety of communications related activities, which may include:
- Developing content for internal and external use included branded recruiting and digital content
- Conducting research, including monitoring and analyzing media clips and social media; and assembling competitive audits
- Supporting our team with a wide range of projects like event planning, video shoots, and bespoke requests
Summer Internship Program at Point72

- Work alongside your fellow interns and be mentored by experienced professionals

What’s required
We’re looking for a creative thinker with a can-do attitude who is interested in learning about all things related to communications. Every day is different in our group, and you’ll need to be open to taking on a wide variety of projects and responsibilities. You’ll also need:
- Expected bachelor’s degree in Spring 2026, Fall 2026, or Spring 2027
- Strong communication skills – writing and/or visual content samples will be required as the next step in our assessment process
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong analytical, verbal communication, and technical skills
- Commitment to the highest ethical standards

The annual base salary range for this role is $75,000 (USD), which does not include overtime compensation, discretionary bonus compensation or our comprehensive benefits package. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things.
