Requirements
  • A degree concentration or advanced degree in a business-related discipline, or five years of contract management experience supporting armed security, military security, or law enforcement services contracts, or five years of contract management experience on contracts reasonably similar in size and complexity, or five years of experience as a senior-level law enforcement manager supervising at least two management-level subordinates.
  • Ability to present information effectively in one-on-one and small-group settings and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, employees, and the public.
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating policies, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to apply fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
  • Ability to interpret technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and work with abstract and concrete variables.
  • Knowledge of contact management systems, human resource systems, internet software, inventory software, payroll systems, MS Office project management software, and intermediate-to-advanced Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook skills.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Must pass a background check and drug screen.
  • Able to travel up to 10% to inspect assigned locations or for corporate travel as needed.
  • Able to perform the stated physical demands, including standing, walking, sitting, handling objects, occasional climbing or balancing, and occasionally lifting or moving up to 25 pounds.
Responsibilities
  • Ensure the quality of services and supplies.
  • Ensure the timeliness of deliverables and control costs.
  • Ensure compliance with government reporting requirements, maintain a business-like concern for government interests, ensure quality control, and manage key personnel.
  • Make company decisions, particularly regarding personnel-related matters.
  • Supervise all individuals working under the contract.
  • Provide District Supervisor services during a vacancy.
  • Be available to the Government 24 hours a day to ensure contractor response to emergencies or other exigent circumstances.
  • Carry out administrative functions efficiently, effectively, and on time without relying on further assistance from Court Security Officers.
  • Conduct prompt and thorough internal investigations of reported allegations or other evidence, determine the facts, and report all Performance Standard Violations without hesitation or unnecessary delay.
  • Ensure matters are handled and resolved internally.
  • Ensure government-issued equipment and property are tracked, accounted for, and safeguarded until returned to the Government, in accordance with an approved property control system.
  • Oversee and manage security operations performed by Court Security Officers, Lead Court Security Officers, and District Supervisors.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
