What believers are saying

  • The company’s website, updated July 29, 2026, confirms active commercialization efforts.
  • Axios reported end-of-2025 plans for a Bay Area pilot and government contract.
  • Job postings in July 2026 show hiring for backend software powering core workflows.

What critics are saying

  • Remedy Scientific has only $11 million raised since April 2025, limiting field execution.
  • A July 2026 engineering hire signals product buildout, not proven customer revenue.
  • If first pilot sites fail, remediation contractors and regulators will reject the platform.

What makes Remedy Scientific unique

  • Remedy Scientific launched in 2025 with automated land decontamination, chemistry, and AI.
  • Its platform targets PFAS cleanup, a technically difficult niche with entrenched manual incumbents.
  • West Oakland roots and mobile sensing-cleaning units create a productized remediation model.
