Requirements
  • Five years of experience leading associates in warehouse, distribution center, or large retail environments.
  • At least three years of experience managing profit and loss.
  • Experience building and maintaining cross-functional relationships in a matrixed environment.
  • Experience with software applications such as Microsoft Office and/or a Warehouse Management System.
  • Availability to work a set schedule that may be changed by management based on facility needs.
  • Availability to work mornings, afternoons, nights, and/or weekends based on facility needs.
  • Ability to work in varying inside and outside weather conditions and around noise and moving or shaking objects and equipment.
  • Ability to follow lifting guidelines, including limiting single lifts to 70 pounds and using team lifts when needed.
  • Ability to use powered equipment as required with proper training or assistance from a trained coworker.
Responsibilities
  • Coach and train associates, delegate and follow up on daily tasks, manage performance, and ensure adequate department coverage while managing branch operations.
  • Build and support a branch culture aligned with Lowe’s mission and behaviors in partnership with key stakeholders.
  • Maintain a strategic view of branch talent needs, recruit and develop talent, and drive execution of operations strategies.
  • Analyze relevant data to inform branch-specific strategies, support customer service, proactively address branch needs, and represent the Lowe’s brand in the community.
  • Hire, train, coach, motivate, and drive engagement of warehouse, driver, and branch associates.
  • Partner with field sales teams and support team members to achieve business goals.
  • Manage the flow of products into and out of the branch to provide a high level of customer service.
  • Work with Human Resources, Asset Protection, and Sales to execute the Lowe’s Pro Supply business strategy within the branch.
  • Influence overall business results by building and maintaining cross-functional partnerships with Human Resources, Safety and Asset Protection, Sales, and Support Teams.
  • Identify performance barriers, use cross-functional resources to diagnose issues, and remove barriers.
  • Use financial reports and business data to support decisions that positively impact key branch metrics.
  • Create a climate that supports training and development by identifying employees’ training needs, supporting enterprise-wide and branch-level training initiatives, removing obstacles, and providing access to developmental resources.
  • Promote continuous improvement by seeking feedback and addressing opportunities related to leadership and performance.

Major US retailers have received over $5 billion in tariff refunds this week alone, with Walmart getting $2.9 billion, Target $994 million, and Home Depot $730 million. The Trump administration is refunding approximately $166 billion in tariff revenue after the Supreme Court struck down its sweeping tariff policy, having returned $100 billion so far. Despite studies showing consumers bore the brunt of initial tariff costs through higher prices, most companies are reinvesting the refunds rather than passing savings to shoppers. Retail executives indicated in earnings calls they plan to put the money back into their businesses. Consumers have filed class-action lawsuits against companies receiving refunds, but none have concluded. Americans have limited recourse to recover funds if companies don't voluntarily lower prices.

Lowe's CEO warns of cautious consumer spending amid macro and geopolitical uncertainty

Lowe's Q2 sales reach $26B with 0.2% comparable growth, updates 2026 outlook

Lowe's stock trades 27% below peak as DIY demand weakens despite strong cash flow
