About the job
- A strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product thinking from discovery to execution, including high-quality craft and problem-solving.
- At least 2 years of experience as a product or user experience designer, ideally in a startup or product-driven environment.
- Strong product sense and comfort working in ambiguity, including making trade-offs that balance user and business impact, focusing on outcomes over output, and iterating quickly and autonomously in a startup environment.
- A solid understanding of digital funnels, onboarding and conversion journeys, quantitative data such as A/B tests and funnel metrics, and qualitative data such as user research and feedback.
- Ability to use artificial intelligence tools to accelerate concepting and prototyping.
- Ability to translate requirements for developers and product stakeholders, with empathy for users and a keen eye for design.
- Shape the interface and experience of the artificial intelligence-powered operating system used by renewable installers worldwide.
- Understand why product work matters while balancing user needs, business impact, craft, and polish.
- Maintain a high standard for intuitive, accessible, and delightful user experience and user interface design across the product.
- Improve existing flows and interfaces and design new ones from scratch by prototyping and iterating quickly to maximize value.
- Challenge ideas that do not meet the design standard and collaborate closely with product and engineering to improve user experience quality.
- Use quantitative and qualitative insights to increase feature adoption, activation, and retention.
- Experience in a startup or product-driven environment.
