Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience in SEM with a proven track record of success in developing and executing SEM strategies, preferably within the credit cards space.
  • In-depth knowledge of search engine marketing platforms and tools, including Google, Bing, Google Analytics, and SEMrush.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, generate insights, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a results-oriented mindset and a drive for continuous improvement.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategic SEM plans to drive credit card consumer acquisition, with a key focus on paid search channels.
  • Conduct in-depth keyword research and analysis to identify high-value opportunities for targeting credit card consumers.
  • Manage and optimize paid search campaigns across various platforms (e.g., Google, Bing) to ensure maximum ROI and cost-effectiveness.
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics, including click-through rates, conversion rates, and return on ad spend (ROAS), to identify areas for optimization and improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Product, and Analytics, to align SEM initiatives with overall business objectives and marketing strategies.
  • Proactively identify landing page optimization opportunities and advocate for improvements where needed.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, algorithm updates, and best practices in SEM and apply this knowledge to enhance campaign performance and competitiveness.

  • Previous P&L management experience is preferred, but not required.
  • Advanced degree preferred.
