About the job
- An active New Jersey Licensed Practical Nurse license is required.
- Current CPR/BLS certification is required.
- Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills are required.
- The nurse must be comfortable working independently in a home care setting.
- Provide nursing care according to the client’s individualized care plan.
- Administer medications and prescribed treatments.
- Monitor the client’s condition and promptly communicate changes.
- Provide wound, catheter, and other skilled nursing care within the scope of practice.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Promote the client’s comfort, safety, dignity, and independence.
- Communicate professionally with the client, family members, and care team.
- One or more years of nursing experience is preferred.
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are preferred.
- EHR/documentation experience is preferred.
