What believers are saying

  • Busek delivered all BHT-6000 flight thrusters for NASA Gateway on September 17, 2025.
  • Busek’s 2026 job postings show active hiring across engineering, manufacturing, finance, and QA.
  • The company says 150 BHT-350 thrusters are already operating on-orbit, validating production quality.

What critics are saying

  • NASA Gateway delays after 2025 delivery would hit Busek’s marquee revenue and credibility.
  • OneWeb and other constellation buyers can squeeze pricing once alternative Hall suppliers qualify.
  • SpaceX, Northrop Grumman, and Moog are aggressively expanding electric propulsion offerings through 2026.

What makes Busek unique

  • Busek’s BHT-6000 powers NASA’s Lunar Gateway SEP stack, flight-proven in 2025.
  • Its center-mounted cathode and multi-propellant designs differentiate Busek from commodity Hall thruster vendors.
  • Busek spans thrusters, power electronics, and materials, shortening integration for spacecraft customers.
