  • One year of registered nursing experience in an ambulatory setting is preferred.
  • Graduate of an NLN-accredited School of Nursing.
  • Current New Jersey Registered Nurse license.
  • Current Basic Life Support certification.
  • Ability to apply critical thinking to patient safety, effectiveness, and cost considerations.
  • Ability to coordinate with the Clinical Director to plan or change courses of action for improved continuity of care and outcomes.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, delegate effectively, and supervise the work of other team members.
Responsibilities
  • Facilitate and coordinate safe and comprehensive care for patients presenting to the Multi-Specialty Site.
  • Assume responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated time frame.
  • Provide patient care using the nursing process, including the therapeutic use of self.
  • Assist in the development and operations of the Cooper Moorestown Multidisciplinary site.
  • Work closely with multiple providers and ancillary team members in an ambulatory setting.
  • Provide direct patient care and telephone triage.
  • Perform prior authorizations and other patient-care duties as directed by the provider or direct supervisor or manager.
  • Coordinate resources with the Clinical Director to improve continuity of care and patient outcomes.
  • Delegate tasks and supervise the work of other team members.
Desired Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree.
  • One year of registered nursing experience in an ambulatory setting.
