Requirements
  • Hold an active LPN/LVN or RN license, or a Community Health Worker (CHW) certification, or have at least 2 years of direct experience speaking with patients or health-plan members in member services, patient access or intake, patient scheduling, or a patient-facing healthcare call center.

  • Explain how the care service works and how Medicare covers it.
  • Confirm Medicare and plan details on each call, explain services in plain language, and book the patient's first doctor visit during the call.

  • Document every conversation in the platform and flag urgent needs to the care team.
Desired Qualifications
  • Have experience in a healthcare call center, patient access, or enrollment role.

  • Be bilingual in Spanish or another language common among Medicare patients.

About the company

Mira Mace provides a care-navigation platform for Medicare beneficiaries by pairing patients with dedicated care advocates who handle administrative and navigational tasks such as coordinating care, scheduling appointments, navigating insurance benefits and pre-authorization denials, resolving medical billing issues, and finding in-network specialists. The service blends human support with AI, with advocates delivering personalized assistance and AI handling repetitive back-end tasks. Medicare coverage makes the service available to eligible patients at no extra cost, while clinical services are provided by the independent Mira Mace Medical Group PA. The goal is to reduce administrative burdens and help patients access timely, in-network care for chronic conditions, mental health, and mobility needs.
