We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Wealth Services Operations Business Technology Liaison to join our Wealth Services Operations Transfers Team. This role is located in Manchester, UK.

BNY’s Wealth Services platform is a dynamic ecosystem that leverages advanced data analytics, intuitive digital tools, and seamless third-party integrations to streamline operations and empower advisors to deliver personalized, world-class wealth experiences at unprecedented scale.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways: 

• Acts as a senior Business Analyst working closely with Product and engineering to deliver change in the Platform Operating model. 
• Will work with relevant POD within a Platform Group and work closely with the product owner to deliver change within the Agile model for that POD.
• Be the voice of operations within the Platform Operating Model, ensuring strong engagement with the operational teams. Will ensure the operation impact of any change is assessed and the solution is suitable for the end user.
• Manages initiatives to analyse complex business problems to be solved with improved systems, providing enhancements and recommendations as needed.
• Provides technical expertise in identifying, evaluating and developing systems and procedures that are cost-effective and meet user requirements.
• Supports operations with a data first approach to proactively identify processes that requirement improvements.
• Will deliver meaningful change for operation outside of the POD by driving process enhancements, building digital tools and AI solutions.

          In this role, you’ll oversee the below tasks:

• Delivery: 
  • Collaborate with the Product Owner, Business, SMEs, and End Users to gather and develop story level requirements in JIRA that allows the Development Team to deliver consistent level of high-quality code.
  • Required to participate in agile /sprint activities (planning, backlog refinement, retrospective, standups, and design)
•  Requirements (Stories)  
  • Validate stories with cross functional stakeholders, including Product Owner, Business, SMEs, and End Users to gather requirements and desired outcomes.
•  Testing/Implementation
  • Review test cases with testers to ensure test results meet expected outcomes as defined in acceptance criteria.
  • Review testing failures to identify potential missed / new requirements or defects.
• Production/ Operational Readiness  
  • Prepare and circulate release notes, as a part of operational readiness
  • Support other Ops readiness activities as delegated by Product Owner

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following: 

• Technical skills: 

  • Agile methodology 

  • Project Management using JIRA & Confluence 

  • Demonstrable Digital Tooling and AI expertise

• Desired - business acumen / knowledge of: 

  • Wealth Management, Wealth Services and Transfers of ISAs and other EMEA investment wrappers

  • Wealth product knowledge

• Research skills

• Critical thinking skills

• Stakeholder management: Should have strong experience in managing senior stakeholders as part of Projects.

• Communication skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
