• Work within the design engineering team and engage in all facets of engineering in the development of new products from conceptualization through product launch and support ensuring all aspects of the design meets performance, schedule, quality, and cost requirements.
• Use and develop both proprietary & commercial tools to analyze and solve design & engineering problems, including but not limited to, Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) software tools
• Work hands-on on the development, testing and evaluation of prototypes and final products and systems
• Manage projects, or sub projects, including timelines and budgets, if require
• Coordinates activities with outside suppliers and consultants to ensure the delivery of supplies or services needed to meet scheduled timelines
• Work closely with cross-functional project teams, participates in brainstorming and design reviews
• Ability to evaluate and make recommendations on cost control, reliability and manufacturability issues and to execute on aggressive development schedule.
• Participate in market research and customer interface activities, if require
• Other duties as assigned by the engineering supervisor
Minimum Qualification:
• Bachelors of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering is must. Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering is a plus
• 2-5 years of experience with product/component design
• Experience with 3D CAD modeling software and data management tools is required. Creo and Wind-chill experience is preferred
• Experience with tolerance analysis and GD&T. Understanding of different design standards, such as, ANSI, ISO, HI, etc. would be a plus
• Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced team environment where you will interface regularly with other cross-function team members
• Excellent communications skills with the ability to convey technical concepts and design in business terms

Salary range:
$62,000.00 - $99,000.00
