Requirements

Responsibilities
  • Partner with senior finance management, facilities, treasury, and the project management office team to align capital budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting for the UHealth/MSOM portfolio of capital programs.
  • Lead analysis of historical, actual, and forecasted results of capital programs.
  • Lead the development and maintenance of short- and long-term financial forecasts.
  • Participate with senior finance management in developing and enhancing executive-level reports for monitoring capital project-level performance.
  • Evaluate, identify, and monitor threats and opportunities and integrate this analysis into communication with senior finance management and appropriate departments.
  • Conduct fixed-asset depreciation analysis, budgeting, and forecasting with operational and financial stakeholders.
  • Develop subject-matter expertise on fixed-asset classification, useful lives, and lease-versus-buy analysis.
  • Assess standard operating procedures within finance, recommend process improvements, and drive those efforts.
  • Prepare reporting on capital programs and present status reports to stakeholders.
  • Provide oversight of staff and analysts.
  • Adhere to University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguard University assets.
