We are seeking a solutions-oriented CyberArk Engineer to support a federal customer. This remote position allows you to work from anywhere within the United States, offering the chance to collaborate with a federal customer while enjoying the freedom and convenience of remote work. What You’ll Do
- Drive the design and implementation of Identity and Access Management and Privileged Access Management solutions, providing high-level engineering and systems administrative support.
- Facilitate the optimization of PAM tool configurations, including advanced integrations with SmartRules, Splunk, multifactor authentication (MFA), ServiceNow, and SCIM server integration.
- Develop and implement strategies for maintaining and upgrading virtual appliances, ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Oversee Windows and *nix system administration, implementing best practices and security enhancements.
- Design and manage high-availability solutions for Windows servers and MS SQL Server environments.
- Establish and refine processes for efficient account onboarding onto PAM tools, focusing on scalability and automation.
- Develop comprehensive strategies for password-safe user support, including proactive measures to reduce ticket volume.
- Drive the adoption of agile project management approaches, mentoring team members in best practices
- Create and present high-level technical documentation, including flowcharts, schedules, and strategic action plans to stakeholders.
- Establish and manage a robust after-hours support system, ensuring 24/7 coverage while maintaining work-life balance for the team
- Directly interact with the CyberArk vendor, as well as perform upgrades independent of CyberArk Professional Services.
Requirements: Education + Experience
- 10+ years of experience with Information Technology (IT), including supporting access management solutions, user privileges management, user credential management, or user security behavior monitoring.
- 5+ years of experience with CyberArk.
- 5+ years supporting IAM, security operations and threat response, or security architecture.
- 3+ years of experience with requirements, design, implementation, integration, testing, or change management.
- Knowledge of Active Directory or LDAP management, configuration or design, PKI, X509, SSO across multiple domains, 2FA via PIV or CAC and scripting and coding.
- CyberArk Defender and Sentry certifications
Nice To Have
- Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related field (preferred).
- 2+ years of experience implementing IAM tools in an enterprise environment.
- 2+ years of experience collaborating with clients to deliver results.
- Experience with SailPoint.
- Experience supporting IAM in a Cloud environment, including Azure or AWS.
- Experience with SQL database administration or management.
- Experience with an SIEM tool, including Splunk or the ELK stack.
- Experience analyzing Cybersecurity guidance, including policies, strategies, and whitepapers.
- Experience implementing PKI and PIV standards.
- Knowledge of HTTP, XML, REST, and JSON.
