- Maintain patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal and financial information for accurate and timely billing.
- Communicate insurance benefits and expected time-of-service payments to optimize patient satisfaction.
- Manage clinic flow by notifying providers of patient arrivals, reviewing service delivery against the schedule, and reminding providers of service delays.
- Maintain business-office inventory and equipment.
- Maintain confidentiality of patients' personal and financial information.
- Audit physician schedules to capture and correct scheduling discrepancies.
