Requirements
  • 4–6 years of progressive project management experience within the commercial electronic security or low-voltage systems integration industry.
  • Demonstrated experience managing access control systems, video surveillance, intrusion detection systems, intercoms, and broader property technology infrastructure.
  • A proven track record managing project financials, resource allocation, and multi-tier subcontractor teams.
  • Proficiency with project management and scheduling platforms such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, and SimPRO, as well as enterprise office suites.
  • Strong blueprint literacy and the ability to read and interpret detailed security, electrical, and structural drawings.
  • Experience managing client expectations at both site and corporate levels.
  • A valid driver’s license and the ability to pass required background screenings.
  • Willingness and ability to travel 50%–75% to support project milestones, quality inspections, and handoffs.
  • Active manufacturer or platform certifications in enterprise security platforms such as Lenel OnGuard, Software House C•CURE, Axis, Verint, Commend, or DMP.
  • Project Management Professional certification or an equivalent formal project management credential.
  • Working familiarity with life safety and fire system integrations.
Responsibilities
  • Own the planning, execution, and closeout of concurrent electronic security installations, driving accountability across all milestones, schedules, and deliverables.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key national account stakeholders and General Contractors, leading regular status reviews, technical discussions, and executive progress reporting.
  • Direct, evaluate, and hold accountable field installation technicians, integration engineers, and subcontractor partners to ensure safety, technical compliance, and adherence to company standards.
  • Manage project budgets, monitor labor and material expenditures, control billing milestones, and protect project profit margins through change order and risk management.
  • Interpret and validate complex architectural, electrical, civil, and security design packages; oversee accurate as-built and red-line documentation and technical programming workflows.
  • Identify project bottlenecks, manage Requests for Information, resolve site conflicts, and implement contingency plans to prevent schedule slippage.
  • Partner with Sales and System Engineering to review scopes of work, evaluate technical feasibility, and assist in proposal development as needed.
  • Travel to client sites to lead project kickoffs, conduct quality assurance audits, and execute formal commissioning and closeout.
