- 4–6 years of progressive project management experience within the commercial electronic security or low-voltage systems integration industry.
- Demonstrated experience managing access control systems, video surveillance, intrusion detection systems, intercoms, and broader property technology infrastructure.
- A proven track record managing project financials, resource allocation, and multi-tier subcontractor teams.
- Proficiency with project management and scheduling platforms such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, and SimPRO, as well as enterprise office suites.
- Strong blueprint literacy and the ability to read and interpret detailed security, electrical, and structural drawings.
- Experience managing client expectations at both site and corporate levels.
- A valid driver’s license and the ability to pass required background screenings.
- Willingness and ability to travel 50%–75% to support project milestones, quality inspections, and handoffs.
- Active manufacturer or platform certifications in enterprise security platforms such as Lenel OnGuard, Software House C•CURE, Axis, Verint, Commend, or DMP.
- Project Management Professional certification or an equivalent formal project management credential.
- Working familiarity with life safety and fire system integrations.
- Own the planning, execution, and closeout of concurrent electronic security installations, driving accountability across all milestones, schedules, and deliverables.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for key national account stakeholders and General Contractors, leading regular status reviews, technical discussions, and executive progress reporting.
- Direct, evaluate, and hold accountable field installation technicians, integration engineers, and subcontractor partners to ensure safety, technical compliance, and adherence to company standards.
- Manage project budgets, monitor labor and material expenditures, control billing milestones, and protect project profit margins through change order and risk management.
- Interpret and validate complex architectural, electrical, civil, and security design packages; oversee accurate as-built and red-line documentation and technical programming workflows.
- Identify project bottlenecks, manage Requests for Information, resolve site conflicts, and implement contingency plans to prevent schedule slippage.
- Partner with Sales and System Engineering to review scopes of work, evaluate technical feasibility, and assist in proposal development as needed.
- Travel to client sites to lead project kickoffs, conduct quality assurance audits, and execute formal commissioning and closeout.
