Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our team. This role entails reporting to the Business Development Representative (BDR) Manager and is pivotal in setting over 20 meetings per month for our account executives. The primary focus will be on generating interest and educating prospects about our comprehensive range of products at Securly, specifically targeting K-12 school districts. The successful candidate will play a key role in building brand awareness and fostering relationships to enhance Securly’s market presence in the educational sector.
This role is a work-from-home (remote) with core workings hours of Monday to Friday 8-5 pm of the region you support.
What You Will Do:
- Conduct over 50 cold calls daily, coupled with sending targeted emails to build productive relationships and introduce our innovative solutions to K-12 school districts.
- Successfully schedule 20+ appointments monthly for account executives in your designated region.
- Develop client call lists through thorough research and leveraging various tools.
- Collaborate closely with the marketing team to manage inbound leads and execute effective email marketing campaigns.
- Embrace a growth mindset to continually enhance your understanding and execution of our sales methodology, utilizing training, role-playing exercises, and other resources.
- Work in tandem with account executives, acquiring in-depth knowledge of our product range and regional sales strategies to augment overall success.
- Maintain a professional, positive, helpful, and friendly demeanor in all interactions, representing both yourself and Securly in the best possible light.
- Accurately and efficiently use and document information in SalesForce, Outreach.io, and other relevant tools.
Preferred Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:

- Strongly preferred background in K-12 teaching/administration or previous experience as an EdTech SDR.
- Previous experience in cold calling or sales roles is advantageous but not essential.
- A Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university is preferred.
- A strong desire to progress into a quota-carrying sales professional role.
