Requirements
  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Psychiatry.
  • An active and unrestricted Medical Doctor license in at least one of New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Florida, or Massachusetts.
  • An active DEA number for at least one of New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Florida, or Massachusetts.
  • Completion of a Psychiatry residency program, including diverse rotations such as Primary Care within the training program.
  • Proven experience and desire to support psychotherapy treatment, including experience with psychotherapy modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy or Dialectical Behavior Therapy.
  • Experience working with patients in an outpatient setting.
  • Experience with telehealth or telemedicine.
  • Ability to prescribe medications.
  • Ability to document concurrently and efficiently during patient sessions.
  • Clinical knowledge and communication skills.
  • Ability to provide patient education and perform diagnosis and treatment planning.
  • Proficiency with diverse technology platforms and systems, including Google Suite, company-wide platforms and software, and electronic health record platforms when applicable.
  • Intermediate computer skills and technical aptitude.
Responsibilities
  • Provide services to a diverse demographic of patients, with an average caseload of approximately 50 patients per week or 8–12 patients per day, subject to clinical judgment and patient needs.
  • Provide evidence-based psychotherapy and medication management.
  • Develop personalized treatment plans for diverse patients.
  • Deliver care through a telehealth platform.
  • Offer guidance to peers and supervisors.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings.
  • Exemplify the practice's values and collaborative approach.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with a Psychodynamic psychotherapy modality.
  • Additional residency experience in Neurology, Internal Medicine, or Obstetrics-Gynecology.
  • Interest in growing into a Supervisory or Leadership role within the practice.
