- United States citizenship is required.
- An active TS/SCI security clearance with an active polygraph taken within the last five years is required.
- At least 10 years of experience as an Information Systems Security Officer working independently or on teams maintaining secure information system operations in isolated, connected, and standalone environments is required.
- At least five years of experience using tools to support Information Assurance Vulnerability Alert management is required.
- At least five years of experience preparing, maintaining, and managing System Security Plans and other security-related documentation is required.
- Demonstrated knowledge of current security tools, hardware and software security implementation, communication protocols, and encryption techniques or tools is required.
- In-depth experience completing security evaluations of software systems or architectures to ensure they meet security requirements is required.
- In-depth experience proposing, coordinating, implementing, and enforcing information systems security policies, standards, and methodologies, preferably on a large software or information technology program, is required.
- Demonstrated experience performing day-to-day security operations for large, complex information and information-processing systems is required.
- Experience with security evaluations, security policies, standards, methodologies, security operations, and secure system environments is required.
- Maintain secure information system operations in isolated, connected, and standalone environments.
- Use tools to support Information Assurance Vulnerability Alert management.
- Prepare, maintain, and manage System Security Plans and other security-related documentation.
- Complete security evaluations of software systems or architectures to ensure they meet security requirements.
- Propose, coordinate, implement, and enforce information systems security policies, standards, and methodologies.
- Perform day-to-day security operations for large, complex information and information-processing systems.
- A bachelor's degree in a related field and at least 12 years of relevant experience.
- Extensive experience as an Information Systems Security Officer on large software development and integration programs.
- Department of Defense 8570 compliance with Information Assurance Technical Level II or higher.
- Department of Defense 8570 compliance with Information Assurance Manager Level II or higher.
