Requirements
  • At least 6 years of experience in IT or Engineering.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a leadership role focused on AI platforms.
  • Professional fluency in English.
  • A clear understanding of the distinction between AI Platform management, Data Platform management, and Data Engineering/BI functions.
  • Significant experience managing AI platforms on Azure, including Azure Machine Learning and Databricks.
  • A strong background in IT infrastructure and cloud automation.
  • Demonstrated ability to create reference architectures for diverse AI workloads, including large language models, retrieval-augmented generation, and predictive analytics.
  • Experience serving as a technical gatekeeper.
  • Experience with enterprise software development life cycle processes for AI.
  • Experience defining and enforcing enterprise-grade operational standards for model deployment, validation, and performance tracking.
Responsibilities
  • Own the strategic roadmap and oversee the technical health of the enterprise AI platform with a full focus on Azure.
  • Develop reference architectures and infrastructure patterns for AI teams.
  • Establish and enforce company-wide technical standards across the AI lifecycle.
  • Integrate data privacy, ethical AI guardrails, and model auditing into automated development pipelines in alignment with the security team.
  • Act as the final authority on AI deployment patterns.
  • Serve as the dedicated line manager for the community of Data Scientists and AI/ML Engineers, focusing on their career development and resource management.
  • Manage post-production support and maintenance of deployed AI products, ensuring high availability and performance against enterprise service-level agreements.
  • Manage FinOps for the platform.
  • Stay up to date in the field of AI to guide the teams.
  • Ensure the AI ecosystem is integrated with enterprise network, security, and data platform architectures.
  • Provide line management for Data Scientists and AI/ML Engineers.
  • Maintain authority over the technical frameworks and standards used by the teams.
